Let me introduce myself.
I’m Ashlie and I am a multi-discipline creative from the South of England. My work explores sex, feminism, motherhood, social justice and self. I have recently become a mother for the first time and my work is currently explorative of my change of identity during this time, what it means to be a mother in a world that is so volatile.
I strive for my work to be a starting point for conversation, whether that be with others or an internal debate with the reader; too much of what we consume online tells us how to think/feel/live and I want my work to sit opposite to that notion. I want to create a platform celebrating free thought and open discussion. Leaving a chair out for my enemy is important and I welcome contradicting views to my own.
You can find my ramblings via my blog - World to Writes or read my more academic work here on my website. Please give my socials a follow and if you would like to directly support my work please visit my Patreon. Open to collaborations - get in touch.
